Our History
A Story of Faith
& Faithfulness
CITAM Kisumu was born out of a deep conviction that Christ is indeed the answer for every challenge facing the people of Kisumu and the Lake Victoria region. What began as a small gathering of believers hungry for authentic faith has grown into one of the most vibrant churches in Western Kenya.
Over the years, God has been faithful and growing our congregation from a handful of founding families to a church community of over 2,500 weekly worshippers, spread across 40 Safari (small) Groups meeting throughout the city and its environs. Our impact has reached 18 nationsthrough missions, media, and the movement of God's Spirit.
We are Christ Is The Answer Ministries (CITAM) family, a fellowship of churches with a rich heritage of discipleship, missions, and community transformation across Kenya and beyond. CITAM Kisumu carries this legacy with pride and passion, determined to see every life in our city encounter the saving love of Jesus.
